Ilang relihiyon na ang mayroon ang Pilipinas. Halos lahat ng mga pinuno nito ay kilalang-kilala na­ting mga Pilipino. Marahil ay iba-iba ang kanilang pinaniniwalaan at paraan ng panghihikayat ng tao upang umanib sa kanilang relihiyong pinamumunuan. Mayroong mga relihiyon na dinala rito ng ibang lahi upang ipakilala sa atin. Ang iba naman ay kapwa Pilipino ang nakadiskub­re. Isa nga sa mga relihiyong tunay na umiingay hindi lamang sa Pilipinas kung hindi maging sa buong mundo ay ang Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ).

ANG PINAGMULAN

Nang magsimula ang Iglesia ni Cristo sa pa­ngunguna ni Ka Felix Y. Manalo na tinatawag nilang sugo at naging unang tagapamahalang pangkalahatan, ay labing apat (14 ) lamang ang miyembro nito at kapwa mahihirap. Tunay na nagsisimula sa ilan ang mga relihiyon at ang tanong sa dulo ay kung sino ang makapagpapatunay ng kanilang katatagan. Alin nga ba sa kanila ang may kakayahang ipagpatuloy ang kanyang nasimulan at panindigan ito hanggang sa huling hibla ng kanyang buhay? Sa haba ng panahong nagdaan ay masasabi mong napatunayan na iyon ng mga kaanib ng Iglesia ni Cristo at maging ng namamahala sa kanila. Kapatid ang turingan ng bawat miyembro nito. Narehistro ang Iglesia ni Cristo o INC sa Pilipinas noong July 27, 1914. Ang mga aral na ibinabahagi nito ay ang mga salita ng Diyos na nagmula sa bibliya. 

MGA NAGING SULIRANIN

Maraming mga bumatikos sa Iglesia ni Cristo nang una itong ipakilala ng sugo na si Felix Manalo. Tinawag pa ito ng ilan na “Iglesia ni Manalo” sapagkat siya lang umano ang nagtatag nito at naghahanap lamang siya ng tagasunod. Ang ilan naman ay sinasabing nagnenegosyo lamang umano ito kaya nagtayo ng relihiyon. 

Sa kabila ng hindi magagandang komentaryo, hindi nagpatinag ang sugo at ipinagpatuloy ang kanyang sinimulan. Naroon sa kanyang puso na ipalaganap ang mga aral na kanyang nabasa sa bibliya. Hindi niya hinayaang makapasok sa kanyang puso ang sinasabi ng ilan at maging ang paninira ng mga ito, sapagkat, magiging dahilan lamang ito ng paghina ng kanyang kalooban.

PANAHON NG PAGBABAGO

Ang sumunod na tagapamahalang pang­kalahatan ay si Ka Eraño Manalo mula noong taong 1963 hanggang 2009. Mula noon hanggang sa ngayon ay ipinagpapatuloy pa rin nila ang nasimulan at lalo pa itong tumatatag. Hindi na lamang sa Pilipinas mayroong miyembro ang Iglesia, kung hindi maging sa ibang bansa ay mayroon na ring mga sambahan at local na naipatayo. Ang Iglesia ay lumawig na sa halos isang daang bansa at teritoryo. Mula sa labing apat, ngayon ay halos umabot na ito ng ilang milyon. Ang kasalukuyang tagapamahalang pangkalahatan nito ay si Eduardo Manalo.

ANG PAGLAGANAP

Sa tatlong taong pamumuno lamang ni Ka Eduardo Manalo ay nakapagpatayo sila ng animnapu’t limang (65) lokal, dalawampung (20) ekstensiyon at limangpu’t pitong GWP o Group Worship Service units na iniha­handa upang maging ekstensiyon at local sa paglipas ng panahon. Unti-unti nang dumarami ang mi­yembro nito at isa na sa pinakamalaking relihiyon hindi lamang sa Pilipinas kung hindi maging sa buong mundo. Ipinagpapasalamat nila sa Ama ang mga natatamo nilang tagumpay. 

Nakapagpatayo na rin sila ng mga bagong malalaking sambahan sa labas ng bansa kabilang na nga rito ay ang mga bagong distrito sa Northeast Asia noong ika-31 ng Agosto 2010, Southeast Asia noong Hul­yo 28, 2011, Eastern Canada at Western Ca­nada noong Hunyo 16, 2011, Qatar, United Arab Emirates at sa United Kingdom noong ika-9 ng Hulyo 2012. 

Hindi pa kabilang rito ang mga naitayong halos limang libong sambahan sa loob ng Pilipinas. Pagpapatunay lamang ito ng pagpupunyagi ng kasalukuyang namumuno.

KAAKIBAT NG TUNGKULIN

Bilang tagapamahalang pangkalahatan kailangan mong maging karespe-respeto sa harap ng mga tao. Kailangang may talento kang hikayatin sila upang makinig sa iyo sa ilang oras na pagpapara­ting mo ng aral. Nilibot niya na rin ang ibayong dagat upang siyasatin ang kanyang mga nasasakupan. Inalam niya ang kalagayan ng mga ito at kung ano pa ang mga pangangaila­ngan na kaila­ngang maibigay. 

Hindi niya lamang tungkulin ang maghatid ng mga salita ng Diyos na nakasulat mula sa bibliya, tungkulin niya ring ala­gaan at alamin ang pinagdaraanan ng mil­yon-milyong mi­yembro nito. 

Kinakailangan niyang panatilihing nasa kaayusan ang lahat. 

Hindi biro ang magkaroon ng ganitong obligasyon ngunit para sa mga nagmamahal sa ganitong uri ng gawain ay kaligayahan na nila ang magampanan ang tungkuling iniatang sa kanila. 

MGA PAGHAHANDA

Ngayong darating na July 27, 2014 ay ang magiging ika-isandaang anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng Iglesia ni Cristo. Inaasahan ang isang mala­king selebrasyon sa pagiging matatag at buo ng kapatiran. Isa sa pinakamala­king proyekto ni Ka Eduardo Manalo ay ang arena na may 75 ektarya ang laki sa Bulacan. Kaya itong umokupa ng halos 50,000 katao. Inaasahang dito nila gaganapin ang isa sa pinakamahalagang bahagi o taon ng kanilang pagiging kaanib sa Iglesia ni Cristo. Isa rin sa malala­king proyektong pinaghahandaan nila ay ang EVM Convention Center sa Quezon City at ang NEU Stadium at ang Sports Complex sa Bulacan. Sa lugar na tinatawag na Ciudad de Victoria ay magtatayo ng EGM Memorial Hospital at NEU college of Nursing. Ang isa sa pinakamakabuluhang proyekto ng Iglesia ni Cristo ay ang pagpapatayo ng bagong College of Evangelical Ministry, na ‘di hamak na mas malaki ng tatlong palapag at mas malawak ito kaysa sa nauna. Inihahanda ito para sa mga bagong mag-aaral ng pagmiministro na tunay na hindi maiikubling dumarami na ang bilang. Pagpapatunay lamang ito ng isang tagumpay. 

Ang pagpapaha­laga sa mga taong nasa pali­gid mo, mga nagmamahal sa ‘yo at tumutulong sa iyo ay ang nagi­ging susi upang makamit mo ang tagumpay na iyong inaasam. Ingatan mo silang tulad ng isa sa pinakamahala­gang bagay na hawak mo, upang ma­ging ang kanilang katapatan ay ma­pa­sa­iyo.

CBCP warns of ‘Catholic vote’ vs RH bill advocates

RH bill advocates endorsing ‘ethnic cleansing’ – bishop

MANILA, Philippines -- An official of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) is urging the faithful to use the “Catholic vote” in choosing their rightful leaders this coming 2013 polls.

     In an interview with Radio Veritas, CBCP-Episcopal Commission on Family and Life Vice Chairman and Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles said it is high time that Filipinos use their religious beliefs in rejecting candidates who are not following the Church’s teachings.

     He said elective officials have long been snubbing the so-called “Catholic vote,” which he believes is still a force to be reckoned with.

     “Kaya kapag mayroong kandidato na hindi sumusunod sa utos ng Diyos, dapat tanggihan yung mga 'yun. At kailangan na magkaroon ngayon ng Catholic vote. Dapat ipakita natin ang pagiging tunay na Katoliko. Marami diyan ay mga pekeng Katoliko, yun ang naghahari sa atin,” Arguelles said.

     He said the “ethnic cleansing” being promoted by some officials can be countered via a Catholic vote.

“Ethnic cleansing itong ginagawa nila kung bakit isinusulong ang [reproductive health] bill sa bansa. Gusto nilang ubusin tayo. Kaya ang mga Katoliko ay bumoto ayon sa utos ng Diyos,” he said.

     Both the House of Representatives and the Senate are in their respective periods of amendment for the controversial RH bill. The CBCP earlier said it will endorse candidates who are pro-life.

     In a separate interview with dzRB, deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said: “We are in no position to comment on the matter. Hindi nakikialam ang estado sa mga ganyan.”

 Opinion:  Catholic Vote for Pro-Life and Anti-RH Bill.. 

     First and foremost, the Archbishop knows that there are fake Catholics, how's that? why? .And why they said that  “Ethnic cleansing itong ginagawa nila kung bakit isinusulong ang [reproductive health] bill sa bansa.      Si Cristo mismo nag-sabi dito na HiNDi nya pinantay ang Kanyang sarili sa Diyos, bagkus ay isang mapag-kumababa at masunuring tao. Dahil dito, sya ay kinalugdan ng nag-iisang tunay na Diyos, ang Ama. Binigyan sya ng Pangalan na higit sa anumang pangalan, iniutos din ng Diyos na sya ay purihin at sambahin dahil sa kanyang pagsunod at sa pagiging bugtong na Anak

kaya naman kung sinu ang nagpupumilit na sinasabing ang si Cristo ay Diyos, Bible stated the truth, He, Himself told us na hindi nya kapantay ang Diyos..

Iglesia Ni Cristo Baptism

Infant baptism?

Catholics always wondering why does INC members not baptized when they are infants? They even show bible verses that they say, “PROOFS” that even Christ demonstrated that little children/ infants should be baptized.

The verses that consider by nonmembers as proofs:

"People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them." Luke 18:15

"Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them." Matt. 19:13

Notice what Christ did to the infants or young children who were being brought to him—He laid his hands on and prayed for them. This is not baptism and is different from what is done to one who is baptized (Matt. 3:13-16, Acts 8:36-38)

Baptism is not for infants, but for those who have been taught the gospel and believed in it as the Lord Jesus Christ himself taught:

"He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." Mark 16:15-16

Having no capacity to understand yet, infants and little children can not believe in the gospel. Faith or belief in the gospel is attained by listening to the message preached by the messenger of God (Rom. 10:17, 14-15). For the listener to have genuine faith, he should have the faculty to comprehend and believe, which infants do not have. Hence, infants should not be baptized.

Thus, in the Church of Christ today, infants are dedicated to God through prayer as set by the example of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to the very verses that the nonmembers say as being “PROOF”:

"Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them.Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there." Matt. 19:13-15

But when they grow up and reach the age of 12, Iglesia ni Cristo children are given instructions in biblical doctrines and they baptized , in consonance with the Lord’s command that all those who are made disciples should be baptized
(Matt. 28:19).

Moreover, since baptism is to be administered for the forgiveness of one’s sins (and to commit a sin is to transgress God’s law of which little children are not capable of doing) infants, therefore, should not be baptized at the age of their lives (Acts. 2:38; I Jn. 3:4). AGAIN, Baptism is not for infants or children who have not reached the age of discretion.

If Christ is God...

If Christ is a God, why did God the Father needed to command us to worship Christ?

Nonmembers say "Why do you worship Christ if worship only refers to God? So it means you acknowledge Christ as God."

We worship Christ not because he is a God, but because God "exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name" so that every knee should bow or in other words, everyone will worship Christ for the GLORY OF THE FATHER and not for the glory of Christ himself.

"Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father." Phil. 2:9-11 The message

If Christ is a God, why did God the Father needed to make Jesus LORD and Christ? Did Christ cant do it by himself?

"The whole Jewish nation must know for sure that God has made this Jesus, both Lord and Christ. He is the One you nailed to a cross!” Acts 3:36
If the doctrine Trinity is correct saying trinity is co-equal with each other, why did our Lord Jesus Christ said "My father is greater than I am" and why will Christ be put UNDER God?

"As the Scriptures say, “God put everything under his control.” When it says that “everything” is put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself. God is the one putting everything under Christ’s control. After everything has been put under Christ, then the Son himself will be put under God. God is the one who put everything under Christ. And Christ will be put under Godso that God will be the complete ruler over everything." I Cor. 27-28 

"You heard me say to you, 'I am going, but I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you should be happy that I am going back to the Father, because he is greater than I am." John 14:28

If Christ acknowledge a God, while he himself is a God, then there will be two Gods, right?

"About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"--which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Mat. 27:46

"Jesus said to her, "Don't hold on to me, because I have not yet gone up to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am going back to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" John 20:17

Members of the Church of Christ have offerings like this, we are not forced or dictated on how big we will give…

#1 Thursday and Sunday (worship services) offerings

#2 “Tanging handugan” (local or/and district) offerings [optional]

#3 Anniversary(July) or/and Yearly(December) thanksgiving offerings

The thing is, where do those offerings go? The primary purposes (above) were:

#1 For evangelical works like the television, radio and magazine expenses and etc.

#2 These are optional: (district offerings) helping other local congregation on their renovation/repainting and etc. of their house of worship. (local offerings) for the expenses of the house of worship like telephone, electric, water bills and etc.

#3 For the building and buying lands for houses of worship

Lots costs millions, the house of worship costs also millions, plus the constructors.

A single house of worship can be estimated from P30-70 million, depends how it is big.

Like replacing/buying/fixing electric fans, light bulbs, chairs, tables, and etc.

Expenses in the house of worship

(electric bills, telephone bills and etc.)

(repainting, remodeling and etc.)

Repainting/remodeling/renovating house of worship costs thousands and thousands.

Forms

(paper works, and etc.)

Weekly forms, and etc. costs thousands for there are many paper works that should be submitted from church officers, ministers and etc.

MISSIONARY WORKS

Renting of venues

(evangelical missions, assemblies and etc.)

Assemblies, evangelical missions, socializing activities rent costs thousands for just one event.

Propagation of God’s words

(Television, radio, Magazine expenses and etc.)

Television and radio broadcasting I know costs millions, many knows it. And the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine prints and leaflets I think cost thousands and thousands even it is sold for P10.

Employees

(Crews on television, radio and etc.)

Salary for crews who works in television and radio networks of the INC.

“TULONG” not salary

(for the ministers, house of worship care takers and etc.)

Housing projects

(for the ministers, volunteer workers and etc.)

We should know that ministers spent their time evangelizing and etc. so, they have no time for jobs and businesses. And what I know is that they are encouraged not to go on business. Why? See how nonmembers accuse the INC that its ministers ask money to members or the offering of the members only goes and corrupt by the ministers. If the ministers have no jobs/businesses and have no “tulong” and housing projects from the church admin. How will they live? They have no home? How about their own expenses, like foods? Especially they have family to support, how about the tuition or for the schooling of their kids? Their own needs? House expenses? For transportation? (Especially they have weekly meetings I think on districts, they have to go elsewhere where the church admin. Told so, and many more) Do they have magic to create their own money? Analyze it and don’t give prejudgment!

Transportation expenses

Church admin. sends ministers overseas, around the country and outside the country to be trained and for religious purposes. It costs thousands and thousands, imagine how many ministers and evangelical workers does INC have. Is those transportation expenses free of charge if you are an INC member? HUH? 

District offices

(employees and etc.)

It also have employees, how about their labor, is it free?

CHARITIES

Expenses

(Lingap sa mamamayan, and etc.)

For those members and NONMEMBERS who are in need, giving free dental services, check ups, medicines and relief goods.

RESSETLEMENTS

Lands

(for the members who’s become a victim of natural calamities, religious persecution and etc.)

Like the bagong buhay resettlement project for the victims of Mt. Pinatubo, the hacienda luicita and etc. Lands costs millions and millions.

CIVIL PROJECTS

Expenses

(in building schools and hospitals and etc.)

Like the New Era university/highschool/elementary with branches across the country, for the members and NONMEMBERS whose the church admin. Is concern for, especially to have people education. It costs millions and millions building those civil projects.

INFRASTRACTURES

Building Projects

(museums, district offices, and etc.)

It costs millions especially when buying property for district offices outside the Phil.

WHY DO CHURCH OF CHRIST MEMBERS GIVE OFFERINGS? IS IT FROM THE BIBLE? OR JUST INVENTED BY THE CHURCH ADMINISTRATION?

For the bible states:

“Each one should give, then, as he has decided,not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly” II Cor. 9:7

While speaking to the early Christians, Apostle Paul stressed in the form of a command the important truth about the GIVING OF OFFERINGS to God. First, he said “EACH ONE SHOULD GIVE”; secondly, the giver ought to decide what to give with no regret; and then concluded that “GOD LOVES THE ONESWHO GIVES GLADLY”. To show that the commandment to offer that he wrote about was not based upon his opinion only, Apostle Paul said on I Cor. 14:37:

“If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.”

Apostle Paul said that giving an offering or sharing what one has is “WELL PLEASING” in God’s sight. This is stated:

“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” Heb. 13:15-16

The Church that was established by Christ is ONLY ONE, he did not say "I will build churches", he said:

“I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” Mat. 16:18

Christ said that he will build his church, the bible further states:

"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Eph. 4:4-6

The bible states that we are called in one hope of calling: ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL. Clearly, protestants are disqualified in being "Christ's true church" because they are composed of denominations and sects, each has different beliefs but the main belief is the same. The bible said:

ONE LORD and ONE GOD--> other protestants believe in trinity, others dont, others believe in Gods.

ONE BAPTISM--> other protestants believe in immersion, others dont, others believe in infant baptism and etc.

ONE FAITH--> very important of all, ONE FAITH, how can it be Christ's TRUE CHURCH if they are not united in their beliefs?

What about Catholicism? Is it qualified for being Christ's true Church? Let us consult the bible:

"that there should be no schism in the body, but [that] the members should have the same care for one another." 1 Corinthians 12:25

We all know the East-West schism or the split of Roman Catholic Church with the eastern churches, then it becomes a denomination (see above).

What does the bible mean that THERE SHOULD BE NO SCHISM IN THE BODY? what is the body?

"He is also head of the body, the church..." Col. 1:8

That means there should be no schism or division on Christ's church, so Catholicism and Protestantism is DISQUALIFIED in being the TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST. The Iglesia ni Cristo in the other hand, is an independent church, which Christ's church should be. A website even described INC as a worldwide church of christ:

Who really founded the Church of Christ?

JESUS CHRIST said so (Mt. 16:18)

"And so I say to you, you are Peter [not Felix Manalo], and upon this rockI [not Felix Manalo] will build my [not Manalo] church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it."[Christ's original Church will not be re-established!!! Hell shall NOT prevail!]

(Yes. Perfect. Thanks for posting this verse. It is our Lord Jesus Christ, and not Bro. Felix Manalo who built the church!)

PASUGO November 1940, p. 23:

“There is only one who could build a Church worthy for God. Who is He-- Only Jesus Christ. No man-- whether wise or fool, whether small or great-- has the right to build a Church." [FYM is a man, fool, made himself great has no right!]

PASUGO August-September 1964, p. 5, "Ang Katotohanan Tungkol sa INK-1914"

“When was the INK recorded or registered in the Philippines? It was in July 27, 1914. Truly the registration says Brother F. Manalo founded the INK."

(Oh yes. It is Jesus Christ, the only TRUE FOUNDER of the Church of Christ and not Bro. Felix Manalo. Oh yes. Its a FACT that what was written in the incorporation of the church is that Bro. Felix is the founder or the executive minister of the church because the LAW REQUIRES IT.

And it is Bro. Felix Manalo, the instrument of God in re establishing the church in the Far East which is in the prophecy, it is Bro. Felix's responsibility to register the church in the government for law reasons, Christ will not come down here from heaven just to sign the articles of incorporation because the second coming of Christ is in the judgment day.)

Media vs. Bible, who tells the TRUTH?

Again, we never and will not recognize Bro. Felix Manalo as the founder of the Iglesia ni Cristo. It is not US, who says Bro. Felix is the founder but those who are not MEMBERS of the church.
